I had an item delivered but I missed it as I was out. I then booked a redelivery to a neighbours house in case I wasn’t in and they haven’t recieved it and it was meant to come yesterday. Know it won’t let me track the item it’s saying the reference number is invalid so where’s my package and what am I supposed to do?

Hi please can someone help me with my enquiry. I live in Isleworth and and posted a large envelope to a solicitors in Leicester. Without thinking I only put one first class stamp on it. My solicitors emailed me saying they haven’t received my mail yet. Is there any way of finding out if it has reached the sorting office in Leicester. This was addressed to a solicitors in Friar Lane under the name of Ms.Fatima Altaf. Please can you help me as there are very important documents enclosed. Not very happy at all with royal mail 24 or No calling card just put outside front door where anyone can pinch it. It’s not the first usually a note to say it’s in the wheelie bin lucky it wasn’t emptied that day.or left out in rain. I’ve seen them put my neighbours in the bush.
