Called Thomson 24hr Helpline as room in tropics had no air conditioning and we could not open window due to mosquitos and my wife being allergic to mosquito bites. It was 30 degrees in the room and cooler outside!
My wife used mosquito repellent and it did not help due to aggressive mosquitoes. It was not possible to sleep. Helpline could not help and nor did Rep contact us. Although we called in good timing we were told we would have to go through another night despite my wife’s medical condition and despite there being rooms available in another hotel which they could have organised us to transfer to. DO NOT BOOK WITH THOMSON! The hotel we are in is Quinta Splendida in Madeira. Avoid this and Thomson!

i have booked with thompson 2 times a year for the last 15 years but this will defenatly be the last i have a holiday booked for june and my brother has just passed away and funeral falls half way through the holiday we have asked if we can maybe change either way by a week or even go somewhere else and we have been told we will lose the whole cost of the holiday so think very carefully before you book with thompson . siprise suprise i am on hold while writing this text joke

In reply to Tracy harding. I am in Morocco and I had all valuables and money in safe, my safe was opened while we were out and £150 cash taken and door closed but not locked, just spoken to duty manager, and they are saying that this cannot happen. It has and it did.

I have booked tenerife holiday village for November 23rd but I am concerned about some of the trip advisor reviews my travel agent don’t seem concerned. I am traveling with my two grandsons ages 2 and 10mths apparently there is food poisoning in the hotel and pool as been shut for a few days also cockroaches reported in resturants needless to say am not looking forward to this holiday. My travel agent says there are no problems at hotel and won’t offer a change in hotel but surely all these reviews can’t be lying

This is the first we have flown with you in a very long time but as it was my daughter’s 21st birthday and your Cambridge branch recommended a 5star hotel in cancun to our daughter, we decided to book with you. However we have had a problem with a pair of earnings that have gone missing from her room which was a presen that was purchased from the hotel itself. When asking for help with your reps she has had very little joy we came home after 10days she stayed for 14 days she has been told very little can be done as they were not in the safe I would like to know why if this hotel has a reputation for things going missing from the rooms why you did not advise her to get a deposit box I have tried to call you for your advice and again feel we have been let down I do question a helpline that cannot advise surly is not helpful when you need it

I travelled on the 11/09/2015 from Tenerife to Belfast. I lost my Kindle somewhere at the airport prior to boarding. i wonder if it is at all possible to contact a rep. to ask at security or lost property if in the off chance it was handed in. it is the original Kindle in a black leather caver. I also want to thank you again on a great holiday. Many thanks
