I’ve forgotten my Online Banking log on details/I can’t log on. What should I do?
If you can’t remember your logon details you can easily reset them online
If you’ve forgotten your Personal ID you’ll need:
– Your most recent debit or credit card, or
– Your account number and sort code, which you can find on your statements
– If you’ve forgotten all your logon details you’ll also need your mobile phone as, for security reasons, we’ll send you a One Time Passcode.
You can retrieve or reset your details on your mobile phone (click on ‘Forgotten your logon details?’ from the logon screen), through the Mobile Banking app or over the phone (call 0844 306 9133, 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday– Sunday closed).
When should I contact my insurer to file a claim?
Please notify your insurance company immediately to report an accident and start the claim process, making sure to provide your insurer with your lienholder information. After you have filed the claim with your insurance company, a decision will be made by that provider whether the vehicle is repairable or deemed a total loss.
Please provide us with the following information: full claim number, the adjuster’s name, and the adjuster’s phone number.
What ID do I need to open a savings account?

How do I get the information I need to complete a tax return?
The Account Summary makes it simpler for you to complete a tax return.
This document details the interest paid and tax deducted for personal savings and current accounts you hold with Santander. The Account Summary is automatically available to you in Online Banking by the end of May for the previous tax year.
To ensure you can view the Account Summary register for ‘Online Banking’ at our website. Once registered, simply select ‘e-Documents’ from the left-hand menu from the ‘My Accounts & Transactions’ tab.
To find your Account Summary quickly and easily, search ‘Account Summary’ using the advanced search facility within e-Documents. The Account Summary is also available in branch or by telephone on 0844 306 9133 on request.
Tax Deduction Certificates are also available if you specifically require one (e.g. if there has been a change of ownership on your account). This can be requested online, in your local branch or by calling 0844 306 9133. Lines open 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday then Sunday closed.
