    Disgusting customer service. Staff rude when air conditioning not working. No offer of help and room temperature boiling with no window allowed to be opened. No answer from 24 hour helpline just straight to music. Very unkind to paying customers stranded in hot hotel room.

I would expect the rooms to be clean will not be staying with you again and will be using premier inn from now on they clean there rooms and bathrooms would like a refund on my room please.     I booked to stay at the travelodge in Sunbury. On arrival I was informed that I had not booked that night the 2nd Sep that I had booked the 3rd. I struggle to see that I had made a error, however I was not in a position to argue, so we booked in and paid again. When speak to a booking rep they confirmed that they could not move our booking as it was a saver. They did however explain that if we contact customer Services who could probably get a refund as it was a genuine accident and that the night before had now been booked. On calling back the next agent told us that this would not be possible as due to being a saver rate no refund would be possible we could however rebook for a another date at any other travelodge. The next morning we called to rebook to be told it could only at the same location, after deciding dates we called again to be told we had to complete online which I have now tried to complete without success. I have also spent numerous times on the phone and I’m feeling very angry.

    I want to know where and how to register a formal complaint but cannot get through on any of the phone numbers. I arrived last night at the Euston Travelodge to find that a room my company had booked and paid for several weeks ago had been reallocated because the hotel had overbooked itself. It took 90 minutes for the extremely helpful and competent sole receptionist, because of the incredibly slow central systems, to locate another room in the central London area. Meantime, he was handling multiple difficult situations from other unhappy guests or passers-by from the street without any back-up. Dangerously understaffed considering the area and the vulnerability of both customers and this one member of staff. Direct access to lifts up to all the rooms once anyone had got in from the street, which was easy by tailgating legitimate guests. And no security officer allocated, unlike at the ‘flagship’ hotel in Covent Garden which is much more secure in so many ways already. Corners clearly being cut. No manager today either when I went back to discuss the company’s policy of reallocating pre-paid rooms. No complaints at all about the individual staff who are clearly left in an intolerable position of implementing a company policy and behaved impeccably. I shall look forward to the conversations with individual management staff over the next two weeks and with whoever can be reached at headquarters.
